Bank of America, the official bank sponsor of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team, launched America's Cheer™, a new grassroots campaign that provides an opportunity for all Americans to cheer on the nation's finest athletes as they prepare to compete at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Bank of America's commitment to U.S. Olympic athletes is realized through the Bank of America Hometown Hopefuls® program, which includes financial support and marketing exposure to 12 U.S. Olympic athletes and hopefuls, and the Bank of America Hometown Hopefuls® Family Center, a unique hospitality experience which will act as a home base for friends, families and more than 600 U.S. Olympians during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
SportsMark is again responsible for planning, producing, and managing the
Bank of America Hometown Hopefuls Family Center at the Beijing Olympic Games after successful programs at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino. In addition, SportsMark consults on Bank of America’s Olympic strategy, providing guidance and activation support to Bank of America’s sponsorships of the U.S. Olympic Team Trials events in Canoe/Kayak and Track & Field as well as on-going US Olympic Team programming.
